What is The Efficient Life?

The Efficient Life is a minimalist self-help blog focused on practical strategies to improve your effectiveness in day-to-day life. Topics covered range widely from such areas as mental health, fitness, careers, daily inspiration, etc.
The majority of my strategies have roots in:
- Buddhism:
- Balance, pursuance of tranquility, restraint, etc.
- Stoicism:
- persistence, pragmatic thinking, logical reasoning, etc.
- Taylorism:
- Maximizing productivity, routine optimization, project management mindset, etc.
- and/or Daoism:
- Harmony with nature, maximizing energy, appreciating the patterns of life, etc.
This blend of strategies from the west and east aim to provide highly distilled yet digestible tips to maximize your productivity in life.

What Makes this Blog Different?
Simply put: countless years of obsession over efficiency and sustainability. Much of the tips on this page come from trial and error through my own journey attempting to maximize output AND milage.
There seem to be countless blogs and pages dedicated to either maximizing either self-care (i.e., weekly spa retreats, meditation, etc.) or productivity (i.e., waking up at 4:00 am, running 8 miles each day, etc.). However, there are very few sites which promote both self-care and efficiency in a way that is sustainable and which has consistent messaging.
The Efficient Life is all about worshipping the time you have on Earth where each second is precious. While most sites aim to soak up their reader’s time, The Efficient Life worships your time. This means:
- No Ramblings:
- Made with the least number of characters possible to convey the message.
- No Sponsorships:
- This blog does not have any sponsorships for product recommendations.
- No Monetization:
- All content posted is purely altruistic.
- **No “Exclusive” Info:
- This blog does not claim any “hidden tricks” or “magical fixes” that you cannot find anywhere else or that will completely change your life for the better.
**Make no mistake: this is a blog ran by one (albeit efficiency obsessed) person. That means that all tips, advice, and suggestions may not be suitable for another’s personality, situation, or lifestyle. Even if my intentions for the reader are purely altruistic, I by no means possess secret knowledge that is not already available to you. Therefore, please follow all advice with due discretion and self-reflection.
